Commission Your Unique Artwork

I love creating custom pieces that bring your ideas to life! Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind painting inspired by your favourite animal, a cherished memory, or a special gift, I’m here to help you turn your vision into a vibrant and meaningful piece of art.

Here’s how the process works:

1. Get in Touch

Start by reaching out through my contact form, or email me on jjbarrsart@gmail.com. Let me know:

• The subject or idea for the piece (e.g., a specific animal, theme, or story).

• The size you’re thinking of.

• Any colours or styles you’d like included.

Feel free to include reference photos or a description of what makes this piece meaningful to you!

2. Design & Quote

Once we’ve discussed your vision and finalised the details, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. this can be paid via bank transfer with your name as the reference.

3. Creating Your Artwork

This is where the magic happens! I'll be working away at creating your masterpiece and will consult you on outlines and concepts (if applicable), your art work can be made and the painting processes shared on TikTok if you would like this please request before I begin.

4. Final Approval & Delivery

Once your artwork is complete, I’ll send you a sneak peak for final approval. The remaining balance will be due at this stage. After payment, your piece will be carefully packaged and shipped (or available for collection if you’re local).​

Pricing

​Watercolour Pricing:

Commission prices vary depending on size and detail. As a guide:

• A5 pieces are £65.

• A4 pieces are £130.

• A3 pieces are £185.

• Larger pieces can be arranged.

Acrylic Pricing:

Commission prices vary depending on size and detail. As a guide:

• Small canvas or canvas board (roughly A5) are £95.

• Medium canvas or canvas board (roughly A4) are £160.

• Large canvas or canvas board (roughly A3) are £220.

• Larger canvases can be arranged.

Please note that framing is not included in all commissions due to postage implications but could be arranged for collections and an extra fee. Additional animals in 1 painting will be at +30%

Alterations

Where I would love for you to consider your art work to be perfect please keep in mind these paintings are in a specific style and are made to a likeness of your image, not an exact replica, on occasion you may like to request alterations

Please note Watercolour paintings can rarely be edited once done and alterations may result in a new painting. All alterations not resulting in a new painting are subject to an additional £10 cost.

The Timeline

​Turnaround times depend on the size and complexity of your commission. Most pieces take 1-2weeks, but if you have a specific deadline, let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
